When their mother and grandmother suddenly die, three estranged siblings are reunited in their childhood home, where they are confronted by legacies of displacement, cultural erasure, and fragmentation that have haunted their family for generations. In turn, they must rediscover one another and their desires for belonging, understanding, and love.
Setting Bones is a new show from interdisciplinary arts company Kalik, and the 2017 winner of the Fringe New Play Prize from the Playwrights Theatre Company, with Dramaturgy from mia susan amir.
